The ADC show is ready for viewing and it looks great! At first the task seemed daunting but the team was up for the challenge.

Sunday at Shemer

It was a beautiful autumn day in Phoenix; perfect weather for several ADC members who exhibited at the Shemer Art Center's Annual Art Festival and Fundraiser. This one day event which includes artist booths, demonstrating artists, entertainment, food vendors and children's art activities as well as a silent auction is a great way for artists to display and sell their work.

Best news of all, the Arizona Designer Craftsmen plans to have an information and demonstration booth next year. And while a year seems like a long ways off, it's never too early to start thinking about participating.

Photo Day

It's not too late to submit your work for the ADC juried exhibition "Changing Tides" which will be held at the Phoenix Center for the Arts.

Chapter president Ingrid Donaldson generously offered her time to take photos of member's work. It was fun to watch and we all learned some great tips on photographing our artwork.

Board Meeting - the Excitement is in the Air!

August 16th the Central Chapter Board met, and the ideas were flowing.  As a group we were able to outline some specific goals and areas of research.  Stay tuned for more information.
